Description: A plain young-adult man, he dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has moderate length brown fur. He has green eyes.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Revenge.

Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a mace, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly crossbows and maces. He has wavy chestnut hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady white eyes.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A 3'6" southern woman, she is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Map Maker. Her tied-back hair is black. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Cumpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by her family

Description: She is an average looking western female in her early mid-life. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her blonde hair is well kept. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Mella learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
