When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Elizabeth was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Elizabeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
