She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
