Personality: She is a Detective first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born to a Bather, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mishann grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mishann. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
