History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Matilda's homeland. Matilda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Serpent was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
