One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He hates Dwarves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Thorin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Thorin's homeland. Thorin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.
