He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Ekemon and his spouse have recently divorced.

His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gardain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She has achieved small success as a Miner.
