Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Iados was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a pastel vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her pastel boots flare out at the collars, and is pretty ugly. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect her home

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She dresses like a well dressed Bookbinder does. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Bookbinder like her mother before her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is thinning but still full. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tomi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tomi. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a deep hatred of giants
