History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a white and tan robe with the hood down. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Burto was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Aelar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and further expansion of business
