History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Tethren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tethren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Valida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Hunter.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. Barakas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
