History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). History: Born in the west to a Guard, Alston learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Srorthen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Srorthen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Srorthen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable
