History: Gifted from a young age, Malquis studied abroad. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She struck the Interpreter job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
