History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job
