History: Kali was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Spy like her mother before her.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the north. He found a children's book about a Gnome Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: She wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She carries with her a set of crossbows, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tordrid was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tordrid fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
