Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A plain young-adult man, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Naal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Naal decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he's looking for his big break

She has a long red ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
