History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Raer lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the south. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She worked as a nervous Architect and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.
