History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
