History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Drifting was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Drifting's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
