Personality: Ugol is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the east. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Fargas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to clean up the streets

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Olgoth will drive conversation. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
