History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fragrant grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fragrant. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and wears tattered old clothes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is cut close to her head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Thiala was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Thiala abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. After a long history of fighting, Thiala and her spouse have recently divorced.

He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Three never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
