Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a grey vest and prefers red and tan shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her chestnut hair is lengthy. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Layabout soon after.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is portly but not overly obese. He sports a flattop crest cut. He has gold eyes and a green hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Greethen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is auburn and curly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a white cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings. Her red hair is long and unkept. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 38. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with her Masseuse father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
