History: Hagren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Barendd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Umpen was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is cut short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer father left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
