Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cressel studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cressel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
