History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.
