History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Ovina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Forcas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
