Description: An older woman who wears a brown shirt with thin black vertical stripes and grey pants, she is not a threatening figure. Her red hair is thinning but still full. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Sannl is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sannl grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

Personality: She hates Dwarves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her chestnut hair is thinning but still full. She has gray eyes.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Beatrice hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beatrice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and to share knowledge with the world
