His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born in the west. Elaim was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
