History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This late middle aged woman is typically in her Soapmaker uniform and is in decent physical shape. Her hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and sabotage a competitor
