History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: This man wears a red shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 33. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
