History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Akta was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bowyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Pyra is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
