The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
