Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Karg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Emerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Emerald began to lead the lost caravan. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
