History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Carrie was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
