History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
