History: Born in the north to a Glassblower, Korfel learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Korfel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Korfel. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His black hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Ashgarn took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Uthemar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Uthemar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was a Soapmaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
