History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Anselm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anselm decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
