Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Rimmon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
