History: He was born in the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Sporting a auburn mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now mingles about in high society.
