History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often
