History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Baelitae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Gale was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gale's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
