History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Direcris was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Direcris decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
