History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman is very fat, and is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, brown shirt, and blue tie. She has no hair. Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her broad grey hat.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to end her boredom

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a white cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After months of barely getting by, Emen managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he's in love
