History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Verna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Verna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
