History: Hork hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Dalaba was born with her father's beautiful face. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
