History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Richard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
