History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Shanairla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
