History: Vadania was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Vadania has worked very hard to control her curse. During her travels, Vadania and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Vadania discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Vadania fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Quarethon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her childhood dream was to be a Architect, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: She is greedy; and balancing her hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult
