History: Born in the east to a Seamstress, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
