History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Argran was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Serpent alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.
