History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Beast was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
